Private, conveniently located near the center of Ahangama, with a great view over the ocean from a spacious balcony. The accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable, and the proprietor was extremely helpful and kind. I would definitely book again.

The property offers a single private room with an attached bathroom, right next to UFO café and above a souvenir shop. The view was superb and the place is 100 % value for money, with a mini fridge that I didn’t see in similarly priced properties. It’s a one‑minute walk from cafés, an ATM, a supermarket, and the beach. Although there’s no official bag storage, the nearby café can help you out. 1. The city‑center location is super noisy. 2. The room is on the first floor, and the narrow spiral staircase makes it hard to carry large, heavy bags upstairs; I received help from the person who checked me in. 3. Communicating with the staff was a bit tricky because I had to use their phone number, which sometimes caused delayed responses. 4. The room and balcony have many ants and insects, likely due to the wooden flooring on the balcony.

I booked the place and once it was confirmed, I messaged the host to find out when we could check‑in. She replied that there was no room for us, which confused me because the booking had been approved. After several unpleasant exchanges, she told us “here is not Israel” and basically said she didn’t want to host us because we were from Israel. “I can do whatever I want in my business,” she said. The conversation became very rude and hostile, and she eventually blocked me without explanation. She made it hard for me to cancel, knowing that a cancellation would hurt her rating, but I didn’t want to pay the full cancellation fee at that point. All in all, we wanted to spend the last night of our vacation peacefully, yet we received shocking and humiliating treatment. We also saw the apartment from the outside and it was in a very inconvenient, noisy spot; the stairs to the unit were steep and dangerous with luggage. Do not go there.

The ocean view was gorgeous, and the tiny balcony was adorable, surrounded by cafés and restaurants. It was good value for money. The bed was very uncomfortable; I could feel the mattress springs and woke up with back and neck pain. Although the location was convenient, the area was very noisy at night, making it hard to sleep. No toiletries were provided.
