The pool was a bit neglected but overall okay. The morning coffee wasn’t abundant. The buffet dinner cost 90 reais for very little variety, and drinks weren’t included; that detail means we won’t return.

“Problems with the shuttle”

The hotel was fine but I booked specifically for the free shuttle to the airport as I had an overnight layover. The staff treated us well and were helpful. When we arrived at 1030 at night, after an international flight. We messaged the hotel about the shuttle and could only speak to an AI bot. The phone number provided for reception was incorrect and we could not speak to a human. Finally my daughters and I took a taxi and my husband and son waited for 2 hours for the shuttle to transport our luggage. The line to check in took 1 hour once at the hotel and the next morning we booked the 7 am shuttle. It was supposed to take 15 minutes to get to the airport. It was almost 30 minutes late and we didn't arrive until 745 and missed our flight. We should have known based on the issues the night before but we were exhausted and assumed it would be on time in the morning. As we were taking a domestic flight we didnt need to arrive 3 hours early but with the extra half hour we missed check in by 2 minutes. Really disappointing
