“My Stay at SF Kitchen and Homestay.”
I spent three days and two nights at SF Homestay from Sept 23‑25 and had a wonderful time. The homestay was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful, chilly view of the Kundasang landscape, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The hosts were welcoming and made our stay hassle‑free, so I highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a cozy place in Kundasang. After finishing a 3‑day, 2‑night trip to Kundasang (Sept 23–25), I also ate at SF Kitchen multiple times. The location in Kampung Desa Aman is very convenient, and the view of Mount Kinabalu from the dining area is absolutely breathtaking. We tried several items throughout our stay: dry fry butter milk prawn and Tomyam Fish Soup are perfect for the chilly Kundasang weather—rich, slow‑simmered, and super comforting. The roasted chicken rice was also a hit. Service was friendly, and there is plenty of parking. Whether you stay at the adjacent SF Homestay or just drive through, this is a must‑visit food spot.
