“Bad room after bad room. Wouldn’t recommend.”
The location was fine, yet at check‑in the front‑desk lady warned us that our assigned room had an odor flag but was marked “ok”; we walked in and immediately smelled body odor, so we reported it and she moved us to a different room that only had a portable A/C. That room was 84 °F with no visible A/C unit, so she sent us to a handicap‑accessible room instead. The next morning a thunderstorm caused water to pour into the living‑room window by the couch, even though the window was closed. When we tried to check out, the day‑shift staff laughed and seemed indifferent, whereas the night‑shift staff did what they could with the information available. The exterior looked tidy, but the interior fell short; after many stays at Marriott properties for work and leisure, this was the worst experience I’ve had, and I hope they address their maintenance and housekeeping issues.
