The staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming and friendly, and there was nothing too much trouble. The food was really good; we had dinner cooked to order and it was inexpensive. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. Nothing negative. We were there specifically for bird watching. A tuk tuk was easily arranged and took approximately 15 minutes to reach Thattekad bird sanctuary. Otherwise it’s pretty remote. One recommendation for the property would be to have garden chairs to enjoy the beautiful environment.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, with a warm and welcoming staff that went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and I loved the cleanliness and comfort of my room, which was nestled in a serene and enchanting green oasis. However, I did find it a bit challenging to access the hotel since I was traveling by bus.

I had a truly idyllic experience at this hotel, set amidst a lush green landscape that was a short distance from the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, organizing trips to the sanctuary and Munnar, and providing valuable recommendations. The food was delicious, and the rooms in the smaller houses offered a great deal of privacy and were relatively spacious. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the midst of nature, this hotel is the perfect choice.
