Staying at Spurwing Guest House was absolutely wonderful— the place is beautiful, incredibly cozy, and clean, creating a perfect oasis of peace and quiet. The entire staff clearly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The meals were fresh and delicious; we were lucky to have the famous pancakes made especially for us by Elijah, and they were simply amazing! A special shout‑out to the lovely resident dog, Baraka— true to his name, he’s an absolute blessing and made our stay even more heartwarming. We’d return here without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was superb, especially the fluffy American‑style pancakes. The only niggle was that the room’s safe was a bit inconvenient.
