The lounge was among the most comfortable rooms we've seen, and the location near the seafront and old‑town shops was perfect; the property was well equipped and the staff went above and beyond when we asked for help. On the downside, there are many stairs and it can get noisy; we stayed during a heatwave and staying cool was tough even though fans were supplied, and the dining room and kitchen are on a different floor.

The location is good, the view is great, the décor is nice, the towels are very good, the linen overall is lovely, the shower pressure is excellent, the living room is cozy, and the kitchen is well set up—this apartment could be a winner with a bit more care. However, the shower doors are awful, the sliding ones don’t close properly, especially when broken, and the cleaning crew would have to step into the shower to remove all the mould around the rim; this isn’t obvious unless you look closely. The windows are single‑glazed, so the apartment is noisy, the beds are really squishy and sink in the middle, the first‑floor bedroom door doesn’t shut properly, the rope railing to the dining room is coming loose from the wall—as are the coat hooks, which we temporarily fixed. Most of the blinds don’t work well and are not enough to block light, sun, or noise. A little general maintenance would have boosted this rating significantly.
