Overall I liked everything: the room was huge, the bathroom spacious, everything spotless, and the bed super comfy. The hotel offers a tasting menu that’s cheap for what it serves, including game dishes, and the breakfast was generous and excellent—great for a quick stop or a place to eat.

The food and staff were extremely friendly, but the room only had a single bedside table, no curtains (the doors couldn’t be closed, so you could see the street from inside), and the duvet looked unwashed. The bathroom lacked a towel rack near the tub and no small stool to hold towels by the tub.

The location was right in the centre and the bed comfortable, yet the sheets weren’t very clean, the shower was tiny, and the breakfast offered limited choices, though I thought it was acceptable since I didn’t plan to eat much more.

The staff were friendly, but the cleaning was average. The room faced the road, making it impossible to rest with constant car noise even at night. There was only one towel holder, no paper‑roll holder, no table or spot for a suitcase, and the room was not cleaned or repaired in the morning. The mattress was old, soft, and the pillows the same—no good sleep at all.

The staff were very friendly, the place spotless, the food excellent, and I loved the experience; it’s also very close to the Discoveries Museum, the Jewish Museum, the Olive Oil Museum, and the Zêzere Museum. The accommodation is very quiet and truly relaxing.
