The rooms were tidy and the bed was made daily; the buses stop right outside the hotel (two stops to Spandau station). Chinese food is served on site (note: closed on Mondays). A great Mexican restaurant is a two‑minute walk away. Behind the hotel you’ll find an EDEKA with a very good café and a Lidl. The accommodation feels a bit worn and some parts are broken, such as the floor covering, carpet and ceiling light.

Check‑in was bad, the staff were unreachable, the area was noisy, and we were lied to without shame.

The water heater worked, but the carpet’s cleanliness was highly questionable.

We walked to the metro and S‑bahn in about 10‑12 minutes, which was very convenient. Two shops—Edeka and Lidl—are just around the corner, and there’s a third shop, Aldi, on the way from the metro to the hotel, also very handy! The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and we really liked it. The only inconvenience was the lack of a microwave in the room, since we often bought food from the nearby shops.

The bathroom was fine except for a few minor issues. I couldn’t check in as booked even though I had called to announce my late arrival; the hotel was closed, it was a day off, and no one was reachable! I had to book an alternative accommodation. The stairwell and corridor looked a bit worn with ripped floor coverings, and I couldn’t get breakfast.
