Gasthof zum Sessellift

The spot is close to the chairlift up to Gemeindealpe, and breakfast was plenty. It would have helped if they’d asked whether we wanted soft eggs instead of placing hard ones on the table. We’d also liked a bit more friendliness at check‑in rather than being asked to pay straight away, and the toilet in room 9 is very cramped.

The rooms were spotless and the staff were helpful, and breakfast was decent. Dinner was a letdown – only four types of schnitzel and Bolognese spaghetti, all microwaved, so no real flavor. The restaurant selection was a disaster, especially in summer when the hotel was almost full, and the rooms were noisy; we could hear every word from the next room and the TV was a constant buzz.

The place was clean, good value for the price, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the large bathroom.
