The spot is unbeatable, right next to stores, cafés, the city center, and a beautiful plaza outside—plus it’s a super safe area. Because the hotel is pretty old, there was a slight damp smell, nothing unbearable but worth mentioning. Usually hotels give you a water bottle, but we didn’t get one, and the minibar in our room didn’t work, which was a hassle since we needed to store insulin.

The facilities and location were great. I couldn’t get the TV signal to work, and there was no phone to call reception.

Location is good. The building is dirty and old.

The place is clean, the rooms are fairly large, and the central location is ideal for exploring Mérida. It can get a bit noisy because it’s next to a lively square, but the sounds die down early enough that it isn’t too disruptive.
