Six of us shared one room, and there was a space with ping‑pong and manga to enjoy. The rooftop bath offered a great view, and the buffet had a wide selection of tasty dishes.

The onsen and its lounge were lovely, with all‑you‑can‑drink drinks while the owner enjoyed a beer, and the kids went crazy for ice pops and juice; we also had fun with table tennis, a game centre (Taiko no Tatsujin) and clean manga books that were covered. Since the weather was bad, staying at the hotel was a plus. The only downside was that the building felt a bit old.
