Finding a better spot than Araminth Guest House is almost impossible; this place was truly amazing and I really enjoyed it. The pool is so cool, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is the loveliest ever.

The garden around the rooms is beautiful and the staff played traditional music in the evenings, which was wonderful. The staff were kind and the air conditioning worked well. However, the rooms are outdated and would benefit from renovation, could be cleaned better, the mattress is not very comfortable, and there are many ants in the room and bathroom.

The garden and the entire complex’s grounds are magnificent and very well maintained—wow! The pavilions, relaxation areas, and clean pool are impressive. The staff are responsive and always ready to help. There is a communal kitchen where you can cook yourself, and all the equipment is available.

A very beautiful place with a pool, a lovely garden, easy access to an activity for dolphin watching (ask to swim with a mask and snorkel, it’s fantastic), and a taxi to visit the Buddhist monastery of Vihara Arama.
