The spot is very friendly, a small family-run place close to the city center, and the accommodation is nice with a little private terrace right by the pool. The apartment itself is comfortable. Edna was very kind and helpful, and I loved sharing our little morning moments with her. Carla was also very friendly and eager to do a good job. However, I think the dishware should be refreshed – it’s all mismatched and there are no bowls for breakfast. The apartment smelled very damp when the door was closed, and the barking of the nearby kennel’s dogs was annoying.

The site was exactly what I was looking for for a family weekend, but the stay fell far short of expectations: bath towels were torn, the hand soap was empty, and the bunk beds were poorly fitted, posing a safety risk. On top of that, the electrical outlets didn’t work. Nobody was available to greet us or answer the phone when we arrived. At night we were told about a €30 fee per dog, a charge we hadn’t seen when booking. When we asked about it and offered to pay for an extension, the person in charge was unpleasant, said we weren’t wanted, and told us to pack up and leave immediately. That conduct was completely unacceptable and disproportionate. The lack of conditions, transparency, and professionalism made the experience very unpleasant. We do not recommend this place, even though we considered renting for New Year’s because we liked the location. There’s also a white cat that’s full of wounds and hungry, eating everything we gave it.

I am formally lodging a complaint regarding my stay at Furnaka Eco Village on 10 and 11 October 2026, due to hygiene and maintenance issues, communication failures by management, and the intimidating and inappropriate treatment by the staff. I booked for 10 October with a 16:00 check‑in. Upon arrival no one was there to welcome us or hand over the key, so we had to retrieve it under the carpet. While this alone wasn’t the main problem, it immediately showed a lack of guest reception organization. The booking was meant for a weekend gathering to celebrate a birthday. After settling in and spending the first night, we requested an extended check‑out, originally scheduled for 11 October at 11:00, until 15:00 the same day. We called the manager, Daniel, who agreed to the extension for an extra €5 per person, totaling €40. The next day at 11:00 we called again to confirm the extension and clarify payment. We were then given a different MB WAY number than the one listed on Booking or the property, and we transferred the €40 agreed. Although we had arranged the extension until 15:00 and were complying, at about 13:30 we received a call from the manager in a very agitated tone demanding immediate payment.
