It was incredibly quiet and private, the pool looked gorgeous and felt like a real splash of joy, and I loved the bamboo‑style fan that must have been a staff member’s own 😜. The rental bike was ancient and could only hold one person, so I ended up hiring a bike elsewhere.

It’s close to the city center, but the air conditioning was bad and the breakfast buffet was not tasty.

Everyone from the front desk, especially Lam and Phuong, was welcoming and went above and beyond, making the place feel like home; even though the hotel is a long walk from town, we liked the peace and our morning strolls through the rice fields, and the free bikes helped us get around. The walk to the historic district takes about 25 minutes and follows the river, but we found plenty of restaurants nearby and appreciated the quiet of the rice fields and the lovely pool.
