The room was spacious, the surroundings beautiful, and the hostess friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy but dated; it could use a modernization.

The staff were very friendly and the view of Bad Liebenzell with the castle was great, so you can reach it without a car by stairs and steep forest paths. However, from Monday to Saturday there is a citizen bus on a donation basis and otherwise a local taxi company. If you’re fit, you can manage the walk very well. I, at 78, managed it perfectly. Everything was okay.

The breakfast was good, the view from the room was lovely, and the rooms were spacious with everything you could want; the staff were very friendly, and the whole hotel had a well-maintained authentic 70s vibe.
