It sat in a gorgeous spot with charming animals and a picturesque stream. The yurt was superb, comfy, and had a great bed and mattress. Some areas looked a bit worn, and the fridge didn’t work.

The spot was beautiful, the mattress comfy, and the Thé Portaloo was clean. But you’d pay £130 for a night in a tent that offers only a cooker and a sink in a separate spot further along the field, with no tea or coffee.
