The small hotel in the old stone house in the remote village of Mediano is simply a wonderful surprise: everything is fantastic—the friendly hosts, the kitchen, the lovingly decorated room, the stylish furnishings throughout the house, and the garden with its view—great!!

The hotel is charming and tastefully decorated, with stunning views of the village of Samitier. The customer service was excellent at all times. Overall, it’s a peaceful and pleasant place to spend a few days exploring the Sobrarbe region.

Alojamiento diferente a todos los demás. Se respira paz y amabilidad en todas partes. Todo está hecho con cariño. La comida es espectacular y el trato de los dueños digno de admirar. No les falta detalle. Recomendable 100%

The hosts were exceptional and did everything they could for us, especially providing unlimited cold water which was much appreciated in the heat. The rooms are lovely, with a sitting area, bedroom, and ensuite, decorated with many interesting pieces. We stayed two nights and booked breakfast and dinner. The food was superb with a good variety. We ate outside for all meals and the views were exceptional. The location is remote, but we sought peace after hectic city touring. A nice walk from the hotel leads up to the castle, which I recommend for the views. We also drove about 15 minutes to the local town for lunch and to see its old town, which was nice.

I was blown away by the location—authentic, tucked away in a quiet village, with a lovely breakfast, stunning views, and a nicely decorated room in style. Alain whips up the tastiest dinners in the kitchen from his own garden, and Stephanie and Alain are fantastic hosts who share local tips, provide fresh water in the room, and go out of their way to give you a real vacation vibe. They’re absolute top‑class!
