It was raining and the vibe felt nice, but really it was the atmosphere that mattered more than the lodging; the rooms were a bit shabby, the beds and mattresses uncomfortable, I was charged more than the rate shown on Booking, and the phone or customer service was subpar.

The location of the facilities is good, the restaurant is the only thing that stands out, and the waiters are very friendly with great service. The reception’s customer service was poor; I felt let down and expected better service. The price‑to‑service ratio is far below a good balance, and there’s a lack of security—anyone can enter without restrictions, giving a total sense of insecurity since no security officer is at the entrance. The receptionists lack good customer tact and don’t provide clear information about the services offered; I arrived at 6.30 PM and they seemed eager to let me go, which gave a bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend Monte Campana to a friend; the lack of professionalism is a hotel‑level failure.
