The breakfast, the pool and the location were great, yet the accommodation was subpar and the single bed was in a different room.

The rooms were decent, the location was convenient and the front‑desk staff were very helpful (excellent service), but the rooms we stayed in were close to the highway, so traffic noise was audible. Breakfast was basic and the staff were clearly understaffed, making it hard to keep up with demand. On Saturday the hotel was full; when we arrived at the breakfast area only a few tables were free and those that became available were dirty for most of the breakfast period, forcing us to squeeze into other tables. When we asked for cleaning, the staff replied that they were short on staff and we had to wait, the same applied to replenishment. For example, around 08:15 there was no more bread, and when we asked, we were told it had run out and they would buy more (the hotel knows how many people are there each day, that’s basic). On Sunday the owner was apparently on site; we saw him actively managing, ordering quick table cleaning, reorganising tables, requesting restocks and attending to guests. Clearly, more training and oversight are needed so the owner doesn’t have to be on site daily.

The rustic style was nice, but the bathroom had no partition in the shower, so the floor stayed wet after a shower, and the bathroom door’s wooden frame was damaged, making it hard to close.

The central location between attractions in Serra de Ibiapaba, near the Bosco and Ubajara sites, was great, the patio area was pleasant, the price was affordable and the reception was attentive. The on‑site barbecue was good and it was close to the road to Fortaleza. The pool was full of leaves, dirty, and the pool area was not maintained. In the room the bathroom leaked everywhere because there was no divider between the shower and the toilet, and some of the mosquito nets on the windows were broken.
