The room offers views of the private pool. It sleeps four guests on two single beds, one large double bed, and a crib can be provided. A private bathroom includes a bathtub, shower and bidet, while air‑conditioning, a flat‑screen TV with cable channels, a wardrobe and a safe are also provided.
The staff were wonderful and incredibly friendly. The hotel itself is conveniently located, and the breakfast was hearty.
Location, breakfasts, and the sea were all great. Everything was fine.
We spent five nights at Riva Hotel in Kobuleti with our family of four—two adults and two little kids—to soak up the last summer days. The place was clean, the beds comfy, and the room was roomy and bright, which helped us relax. Being close to the beach made moving around with the kids a breeze, and the pool was polished by a robot every morning; we didn’t use it much, but it looked well kept. The hotel sits off the main road, so we slept well, even though we could hear loud music from the Grand Kobuleti restaurant until midnight; it was far enough that it didn’t disturb us too much. The only real downside was breakfast: it was below average, and this was the first hotel I’ve stayed at that didn’t serve white cheese. Instead of a standard egg choice (fried or scrambled), there was a fixed hot item each day, like plain sausage with pre‑made scrambled eggs, and odd options such as Olivier salad or mayonnaise‑based cabbage salad. A self‑serve cereal and oats station would be a big improvement. The hard‑boiled eggs were overcooked, and the scrambled eggs sometimes had a greenish layer from overcooking. Staff would bring out the pre‑portioned hot dish of the day without asking if you wanted it, causing unnecessary waste; a quick check would solve that. Despite the breakfast issues, the overall comfort, cleanliness, location, and price earn this hotel a solid 9/10, and with a bit more attention to breakfast quality and service, it could be even better. I’d still recommend Riva Hotel for a stay in Kobuleti!
The location was convenient, early check‑in went smoothly, the room was good, the housekeeper was very pleasant, breakfasts were decent, and parking is on site. Everything liked.
“Great option for the price”
A great hotel for a great price, the pool is very nice, the sea is across the street, and the staff are great too. I recommend it! Breakfast could use a bit of improvement, but it matches the price.
