The staff were very friendly and there were free parking spots in front of the hotel, but the price‑to‑value ratio is off; at over 160 € per night I would have expected a better room. The furnishings were simple yet functional, and the room itself felt a bit dated with numerous scratches on the walls that left me feeling unlikely to return.

The food quality exceeded my expectations, though it took a long time to be served—about 45 minutes. The mattress is due for replacement and is very hard.

The dining room and terrace are lovely and well maintained, and the staff are very friendly and relaxed, but a renovation of the corridor and bathrooms is urgently needed. The layout is confusing with many corridors and 100 steps and no elevator, making it hard to reach our attic room with a suitcase.

The old building, modernised especially the restaurant section, is a real eye‑catcher. Our room suited our needs very well, though the bathroom could use more storage and a slightly larger shower. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and cheerful, giving us a constant feeling of welcome. The breakfast buffet left no wishes unfulfilled, with fresh‑pressed orange juice, scrambled eggs with bacon, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, and more. We found the location superb—quiet enough to sleep with the window open, public transport nearby so the main station is 4 minutes away, and the city centre is 12 minutes by car to the parking lot.
