“Absolutely not worth the price I was charged; this is not a high end resort.”
The location was fine. For the price I paid, I was very disappointed. I booked a Pine Cottage and the check‑in went smoothly with friendly front‑desk staff, but the overall experience was far below what a supposedly upscale resort should offer. The cottage smelled oddly, the bathroom was poorly maintained (see attached photo of the tub), ceiling panels were loose in spots, some lamps didn’t work, and the ironing board was almost comically small. Wi‑Fi was unreliable. The secondary room my two adult sons used was extremely cramped, had no fan or adequate air flow, and I had to ask the front desk for a fan. The beds were so uncomfortable that both sons had backaches after sleeping on them, which is unacceptable for a room marketed as suitable for four adults. The resort restaurant was even worse: we ate only a few bites before deciding to leave, yet still paid over $100. Even the Coke was flat; when we mentioned it, the server made us feel our complaint was being questioned before eventually replacing it with a new Coke from a can. Both the food and service were extremely disappointing. The only bright spot was the beautiful oceanfront location.
