De Plantage

The surroundings were really great! The staff were super friendly. The apartment we received was different from the photos, but it was in the most beautiful location! 😃

“Blij dat we weer weg waren en onze vakantie konden afmaken bij peperpot”

We told them we weren’t going to stay. The pool was green because the pump was broken, the air‑conditioning didn’t work or was difficult to operate.

“Sadly rundown resort.”

It’s ‘in’ the jungle, so it could offer a good experience if you want to see wildlife up close. After deciding to leave, the owners gave us a full refund, which was good. The photos are misleading; in reality the resort is very rundown, hasn’t been maintained for years, has lots of insects, and is not clean. We didn’t stay.

I was utterly charmed by this little slice of heaven, where the warm and welcoming staff made us feel like part of the family. The tour of the stunning garden and surrounding forest was a highlight of our stay, and the pool was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the food was fresh and delicious. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of love and care into creating this special place, and it showed in every detail.

“Het leukste is de jungle wandeling met de eigenaar je krijgt erg veel informatie over de planten en dieren”

I was initially drawn to the hotel's traditional-style houses, which added to the charm of the property. However, I was slightly disappointed by the pool, which was a bit small. Despite this, the hotel's rustic charm and picturesque setting made up for it.
