“Disrespectful / offensive / mistreatment/”

The only positives were the location and the independent bathroom. The policy was very disturbing and the staff harassed me. I requested DND and no room cleaning, yet the policy treated me like a criminal: they kept opening my room to check every second day. The first time the manager sent two cleaning staff to inspect my room, they searched under the bed, my bed area, and the bathroom; I felt very disrespectful, distrusting, and had a very bad experience. I told them it was okay to check after 1 pm, but when I woke up late, the cleaning staff came at 11 am and said this was company policy to check my room every second day. I felt this was totally disrespectful and there was no mutual trust, so I asked for a refund. The manager said the inspection was for my safety, but that didn’t verify because I went out every day and asked the cleaning staff to change the rubbish bin and provide new towels and toilet paper daily! This behavior is literally disgusting! I still didn’t receive a proper explanation for the reason of the inspection, although they said they check every single customer. Also, the floor seemed not so clean and the air conditioner needed filter cleaning.

The bed was too hard and had no soft side, causing back pain after sleeping.

“I had a very enjoyable stay.”

This nice hotel sits in a bustling area; the rooms were tidy and the bed comfortable. The housekeeping staff were excellent and helpful, and when my flight was cancelled they even arranged a new room for me. The staff overall were friendly and accommodating.
