The hosts, the Family Wessel, are a very friendly and humorous couple; I came to Cologne on a business trip and enjoyed a very pleasant six‑night stay at Haus Wessel, with a location that was very convenient for both transport and dining, making it a truly rare and wonderful experience.

The hosts and owners were outstanding, welcoming us with pastries and coffee and speaking good English; parking was limited but nearby and convenient, and we enjoyed the evening meal; the hosts also made sandwiches for our journey home. It is a small guest house, quite quaint and old‑world, but the room had a small kitchenette, couch, table, and a small shower/bathroom. It is close to the tramway for easy access into Cologne and near the motorway, which worked well for us. The only downside was that it was just very quaint and a little cluttered.

The couple Wessel are landlords with passion; they take care of guests in a loving, very warm way. The room, cleanliness, and care are unmatched; I travel a lot nationally and internationally and have never stayed better. TOP RECOMMENDATION – thank you very much.
