The mountain guesthouse was well kept, staff very kind and helpful. The common lounge is very cozy.

The new building features chalet‑style décor and sits in a central spot for visiting the castle. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so the suite on the third floor required us to haul a 25‑kg suitcase up and down three floors. After the first night, the staff came to “tidy” the room but only took out the trash and didn’t make the bed. The most distressing issue was the vomit‑like sewage stench coming from the bathroom, which lingered throughout our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Zara Chalet and really enjoyed everything. The chalet is beautiful, clean and very comfortable, with a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. You can tell that a lot of care has gone into the details and making guests feel welcome. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and would definitely come back.

The suite was beautiful, very clean, and breakfast was great. We were just passing through, so only stayed one night.
