The Tarbet Hotel

The evening food was very good, but the breakfast buffet wasn’t. Rooms were only serviced every three days, even though reception was friendly and gave us extra milk, and we’re not sure if clean towels were available. Luckily we figured out how the towel‑rail heater worked and could dry our towels. The room lacked information about the hotel. On Saturday a wedding took place, forcing us to walk through a room where guests were to reach the stairs and lift to our room. During dinner, children ran through the restaurant and no one did anything about it.

The location and staff were lovely, but the bedroom was very basic and the shower base was broken.

“Fabulous place to visit”

The location is beautiful, and the staff were very nice. Because it was our wedding anniversary, they upgraded our room and left us a gift of two small bottles of Prosecco, chocolate‑covered strawberries, and a lovely message on the day, so we’ll definitely return. The dining room service was a bit slow, but the food was excellent.

The staff were friendly and the building felt cozy, plus there was a charging station in the parking lot. However, the bed was broken, the room had a moldy smell, and the shower pressure was poor.
