The location is excellent, very peaceful, and the site is a relaxed place to be. The hosts are welcoming. I liked it because I enjoy camping, and this hideaway pod is very off‑grid. It has no mains electricity and the toilet facilities are a few minutes’ walk away. Another hut has a kettle and a microwave where you could charge things if you want, but I’d recommend bringing charging packs. If you prefer the outdoorsy side of camping and more glamping than luxury, this is a great spot with decking, a wood‑burning stove, a BBQ, a hammock, and a lake to look out on. If you’re not into the outdoors (my partner isn’t particularly), it might feel a bit too rustic.

“Stunning unique place at the lake where you can stay connected with the nature 😊😊”

The lake view is amazing, with birds walking around, quiet, and lovely 😍. The hosts are very kind and communicative. The lights and decorations are cute! The walk to brush my teeth was long 😂, and the shower plug was too small so water stayed on the floor.

“Exactly what we needed.”

Our stay was amazing. John is such a helpful, friendly guy who goes above and beyond. The site is immaculate and beyond beautiful. It’s so quiet and relaxing. All amenities are very clean and everything has been thought of. It’s a truly lovely place with lovely people—a little piece of paradise. Definitely going back. Oh, and we got to walk the goats. 😁. The only downside was having to come back home.

I spent a wonderful time with my wife, and the bailiff John was incredibly helpful and friendly; I would suggest it to anyone looking for a great fishing trip. Everything else was fine.
