It was a very nice experience. The small Hanok village near the tea plantations is peaceful and quiet. Sleeping on the floor is a new and somewhat “hard” experience, but it’s part of the story. Boseong isn’t touristy at all, so nobody speaks English there, including the hosts, but we managed with smiles and Google Translate. The hosts were super friendly and offered free transport back to Boseong Railway station, which is handy since buses run on an irregular schedule. Inside the room you’ll find everything you need—water kettle, TV, Wi‑Fi, hot shower, fridge—just remember to buy breakfast items in Boseong town before you leave, as there’s no store in the village. Overall, I really enjoyed it.
