The place sits in a gorgeous, secluded spot where the air feels fresh, the water is clean, and the sounds of nature are crystal clear—just close your eyes and feel at home. On the downside, some of the supplied fold‑out chairs were broken, the main heater on the gas stove didn’t work, and the hammock poles snapped while we were using them. After pointing out the issues we received complimentary wine as a gesture of goodwill.

The silence was amazing, and I’d tell anyone looking for a quiet retreat to book here. The only annoyance was a branch brushing against the roof when the wind blew; otherwise everything was spot‑on.
