Baan inta hostel - บ้านอินตาโฮสเทล

The location was ideal, right at the entrance of the historic park and next to the night market. The host was very friendly and gave us several tips; on our departure day she even drove us to the train station. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and the terrace offered a view of the historic site. The bed was comfortable and fluffy, unlike many places in Thailand. The drain in the bathroom caused the whole room to get wet when showering or washing hands, and a dog nearby barked a lot.

The spot is smack in the middle of town, but I was let down when the room wasn’t cleaned and the towels weren’t swapped.

The place is in a great spot and the bed was comfy, but there was a weird smell in the toilet and the ground‑floor room buzzed from the water pump.

The hostel sits right across from Wat Mahathat on a quiet side street with only a tiny sign, my ground‑floor room had a table and two chairs right by the door so I could sit outside, the room was quiet and had everything I needed, the mattress was soft and I slept well, mornings I got toast and coffee on the terrace upstairs, the nearby night market’s food selection was underwhelming, I felt well looked after and the staff were friendly; everything else was fine.

“Trully exceptional.”

The stay was outstanding, the hostel was spotless, the owner was kind, helpful, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel welcomed; there was nothing wrong at all.
