City House nest Metro Thao Dien was clean and comfortable, and everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. In the closet there’s a basket for dirty laundry; just leave it outside your door and the cleaning lady will take it to the wash and bring it back in the late afternoon or evening. You have to walk down a small, easy‑to‑miss path by the gas station to get there, and it often smells like gas, though the rooms themselves have no odor. The gate locks at night, so you need to ring the bell and wait for the doorman to let you in; it’s safe and he’s reliable, but it can be a minor hassle for those who come home late.

I was shocked when I arrived and was charged a whopping 150 million Vietnamese dong, when I'd originally booked for 51 US dollars. I'm still not sure what happened, but it was a pretty big discrepancy. Unfortunately, that was the only issue I had with my stay.

The price was incredibly low, and the place was brand new, with lots of things still in their original packaging. The location was perfect, but the air conditioning was a bit of a problem – it was blowing straight onto my head, making it a bit chilly.

The building was completely new, with a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, one-living-room layout, situated in a quiet alleyway. It was super quiet at night, and the soundproofing was excellent. Plus, there was a free laundry service, and plenty of shops, restaurants, and a metro station nearby, making it super convenient.
