The beachside spot was perfect, the host was incredibly kind, and the food was delicious! The place feels a bit less luxurious, but that’s expected when you’re on Maupiti.

“Beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation”

The location was great. The room description said it was 20 m² with one double bed and one single bed, but we received two 6 m² rooms that shared a bathroom with another room. I had also asked if we could have dinner, and the owner said yes, but when we arrived she told me she didn’t cook on Fridays and Saturdays because she is Adventist! (We were there from Friday evening to Sunday evening.)

Teri and Tatitao make you feel at home; they’re adorable and very attentive to everything you need. You’ll get a full immersion in the island, with detailed explanations of Maupiti’s culture and history. The accommodation is a Tahitian boarding house built by them. Two kayaks and bikes are available—free bikes are functional but not in great condition, and for more comfort you can rent bikes. The house overlooks the lagoon and offers a spectacular sunset.
