“Gefallen bis auf kleine Sachen”
The pool and sauna were great. The 0.5 ltr. water cost €3, the scrambled eggs were dry and hard, and all nutrients were boiled away. Breakfast service was only available while chatting.

The Waldhotel Eskeshof, located just outside Wuppertal, offers a tranquil retreat amidst a forest. This traditional half-timbered hotel, built on a 300-year-old site, features free WiFi, a continental breakfast, and local specialties in its Goethestube restaurant or conservatory. A rustic bar, beer garden, and on-site bowling lanes add to its charm, with easy access to the Ruhr Area, Cologne, and Düsseldorf.

The accommodation cancelled my paid booking at the last minute, left me scrambling for work, and I had to find another hotel, arriving there only at 23:00.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, both the helpful, dedicated gentlemen at dinner and the two ladies at breakfast. Nothing to complain about.
