We were thrilled with our stay! The spot is amazing—everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, plus it felt very safe. The historic building is charming, and they’ve added modern touches like updated bathrooms and AC while keeping the vibe of a place once inhabited by DaVinci. It was super clean and cozy. Breakfast at La Menegere, just down the street, was next‑level—don’t skip it! The staff were fantastic; after our flight landed at about 7:40 pm, a receptionist (I can’t recall her name) called us to explain how to get to the hotel by tram and promised to wait for us to check in personally, even though the reception closed at 8:00 pm.

The location, décor, and staff were all great. However, the listing didn’t make it clear that breakfast isn’t on site, and housekeeping missed a few details like restocking sugar and shampoo.

“Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence .”

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Duomo and most other must‑see sights, and the railway station is easy to reach on foot. The elevator is tiny, only big enough for two people or one person with luggage.
