A dreamy location, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, lovingly designed rooms, kitchen, and living area. During the summer season until the end of August, there was a tasty and affordable lunch buffet at the restaurant “Dalen,” about 1.5 km from the accommodation, also run by the hosts. Tourist spots such as Fulufjäll National Park and the world‑heritage city Röros in Norway are easily reachable. The pension is perfectly quiet, offers many options for long walks or hikes, for example on the southern Kungsleden. Various supermarkets like ICA and Coop are within 30 min by car, and for small purchases there’s a Lanthandels shop in the village. If you’re after peace and beautiful nature, this is the place. No negatives.

The old house feels charming and steeped in history, but the nearby grocery shop and restaurant shut down at 7 pm, so if you arrive late you’ll need to bring your own food.
