The accommodation felt like a typical house rental, giving a true Taiwanese vibe that reminded me of my earlier time living there, and it was neat, clean, and well organized; staying in Taipei on a weekend for this price was a real treat. However, I think it would be better if they provided simple futons and pillows, since the cost is comparable to a budget hostel.

The room was nice and very quiet, but reaching the sixth floor without an elevator was tough unless locals help you call the owner; I couldn’t find the address and staying with the owner didn’t make me feel very at ease.

The owner was extremely helpful, but there was only one thin futon, so having a mattress would have been nice.
