The hotel’s location is lost in the jungle and close to the Chichen Itza site. The pool is well maintained. The staff are helpful. Despite the following criticisms, the hotel remains good value for money. The hotel’s state of decay, which must have been a high‑end hotel in the past. The access track is rough: bring a good SUV or 4x4.

This is a place to disconnect and spend time in the jungle. There is no one else around; the views from the rooftop are incredible. Don’t miss stargazing or the sunrise. The staff are so sweet, the food is good, and the pool is relaxing. You’re minutes away from the pyramids.

The spot was perfect, right next to Chichen Itza and tucked inside a forest, giving it a slightly old‑school charm. After the covid years a few pieces of infrastructure hadn’t been kept up, yet we still had a truly special time thanks to the staff’s warmth—thanks for that peaceful, nature‑filled break, Abrazo. We do have to accept that they’ve suffered a lot during the covid pause and should be given another chance.

The hotel’s position relative to Chichen Itza was ideal, getting there was a breeze, the room was stunning and the jungle setting fantastic, with staff who were extremely friendly and helpful; however, we had no water in our room, so we had to use the other room’s shower and couldn’t flush the toilet, the single open pool only had two loungers despite us being the only guests, the restaurant closed at 21:00 leaving nothing available afterward so bringing your own drinks was wise, and the breakfast was very meagre, making the otherwise wonderful hotel suffer from a lot of deferred maintenance and flaws.
