The welcome and kindness of the staff, the calm in this beautiful place on the west side of Luxor in a lovely garden by the Nile. A hearty and varied breakfast, fresh and well‑cooked meals.

The staff were EXCELLENT. Their hospitality was amazing; I felt truly welcomed by everyone, and they were so nice. Three men stood out, though I didn’t catch the names of two. First, Mohammed, the breakfast chef, is very sweet, funny, and welcoming. We didn’t have breakfast because we checked in at 3:00 am, but he still brought us something when we woke up—great gentleman, thank you. Second, a younger gentleman helped us with everything we needed and was always smiling; it felt like he was there just to help. From changing rooms, to helping us back into our locked room (I had forgotten the key inside), to bringing us wine whenever we ordered, he was always happy to help. Thank you. Third, the bartender is fantastic and funny; his English is very good, and we really enjoyed his company. If he ran a bar, he would flourish. Thank you. There isn’t much around, but the hotel is in a village and everyone is nice—no need to worry.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always attentive to our requests and needs. The pool was a great bonus and the perfect place to relax after a long day visiting the temples in the heat. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit picked from the trees on the property. The rooms are newly renovated, not very large but functional, nicely furnished, and equipped with air conditioning. There is also a wonderful view of the Nile from the back of the property.
