The food was very good, the location close to nature, and the owner was very friendly. We were stuck with a room that had a very small bathroom, but that’s probably due to the low price.

The setting is quiet, idyllic on the forest edge in classic Black Forest style. The shower tiles were moldy, towels weren’t provided until we asked, and the outdoor areas were unkempt and quite desolate.

A nice hotel on the edge of town, quiet, perfect for traveling with a dog, a friendly family‑run place with Black Forest flair, spacious rooms with balconies, we were treated very well, the food was excellent, breakfast was sufficient. The bathroom was a bit of a downside.

The breakfast was not taken, and the bathroom felt very small; even after the renovation, the age of the building shows through and the room lacks a comforting vibe.
