“Mooi en schoon hotel, maar Maafushi erg toeristisch”

The hotel itself looks nice and the rooms were tidy and clean. Breakfast came buffet‑style and offered us plenty of options. Some staff were very friendly, greeted you politely and made you feel welcome. When we mentioned that we had no hot water, that was fixed. The reception was inconsistent; some younger staff were mainly on their phones and seemed a bit uninterested. It also appeared that hot water was sometimes turned off during our stay. We found Maafushi personally less interesting because it feels very touristy. Moreover, the tours were quite expensive; on Dhigurah we could book similar tours for lower prices.

“One of the best hotels in Maafushi”

Breakfast was excellent, and the room offered a stunning ocean view with a balcony; the toilets were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the room felt cool and snug. The terrace restaurant was fantastic, serving amazing food that justified its price. However, the sink kept leaking onto the cabinet area, and the rates seemed a bit high.

The staff were warm and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and arranging the water‑plane transfer and speed‑boat booking was seamless; the spot is especially handy with the pier right at the doorstep.

“Agradable estancia”

We liked the pool a lot. The room was also very good and close to the port. They help with luggage when you arrive and when you leave. There is only one elevator for so many floors.

I stayed right in the city center near the main jetty and loved the infinity pool.
