A 5-minute walk from the Main Square of Fügen, the Hotel Edelweiss is located right next to a stop of the free ski bus. It offers Tyrolean cuisine, free Wi-fi and a sunbathing lawn. All rooms in the Edelweiss hotel are reachable by elevator and have a balcony, a satellite TV and a private bathroom. In summer, kids can have fun on the playground, while parents can relax on the terrace. A storage room for skis and bicycles is available. The Spieljoch Ski Area and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal Spa can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The Hochfügen / Hochzillertal Ski Area is 7 km away. Cross-country skiing trails can be found right next to the building.

The breakfast was very good, with eggs available in various variations upon request. Dinner was excellent. Unfortunately, the salad buffet was always the same, and when we chose something like potato salad, a swarm of small fruit flies would appear, which are common at this time of year. We skipped the salad because the starter and main course were excellent and plentiful.

The breakfast and dinner were well prepared and of good quality. The base is a good starting point for many trips and hikes and offers a solid selection of mountain lifts. The prices of the lifts are also hard to underestimate even in Austria. Traveling by private car is especially tiring because of the frequent construction sites.
