“Terrible experience”
If you don’t own an electric car, you’ll likely have a good impression of this place. I have an electric car, and the owner’s behavior was awful. On day one of my three‑day stay I told the owner I’d need to charge my car—about 35 kWh—at the night‑time rate in Montenegro, which would cost only about €1. She agreed and I even ordered breakfast for two as a thank‑you, even though I already had food. On the last day, when I was ready to leave and my friends were waiting, she became unreasonable. She had three days to check the electricity cost but chose to do it at 10 a.m., exactly when I was checking out, and said, “I’m going to check the electricity bills.” I asked, “Do you know how much you pay per kilowatt‑hour?” She said, “No, I don’t.” I replied, “I do. I already checked it. I charged my car here for about €1. Do you want me to give you €1?” She said, “No, wait. I’m going to check the bill.” I still don’t know what she expected to find in the previous month’s bill. Her hospitality was completely unacceptable. I’ve stayed in guesthouses in Serbia many times, and never once has a host asked me to pay for charging my electric car, let alone for €1. I left without waiting. After I left, she called me, threatened to involve the police, and kept sending messages accusing me of deliberately charging my car at night while everyone was asleep so nobody would notice.
