The beach is just a few minutes on foot, and the train station isn’t far either. The room was spacious and even had a terrace. Breakfast only started at 8:45/9 am during my stay, which I found quite late; many places serve breakfast from 7 am or at least 8 am, and the selection was limited. The hotel staff spoke neither English nor German, communicating only with gestures. They were all friendly, but for a hotel that surely hosts foreign tourists, fluent English is a MUST (I don’t even demand German). On the departure day, one staff member could barely speak English. I don’t understand how a hotel can lack English‑speaking personnel in today’s world. The beds were saggy, but that was tolerable for a few nights. The pool and whirlpool were small and outdated, and the sauna was turned off.

The new terrace was a plus. At check‑in and check‑out, the staff understood us. The two staff members were very friendly. There were no spare towels. The room was not cleaned in between. We only had half a roll of toilet paper and had to use tissues from the second day onward. We went to the reception and they said… I didn’t understand… no English either. I had to call a Polish friend to intervene. She arranged for paper and told us the room should be cleaned. We waited in vain for the room to be serviced. So no service. Breakfast was a disaster… the same every day, no variety, not even a roll of bread during the entire stay. The beds were futon‑size and totally saggy. The coffee machine was broken. We noticed all the Germans were on one floor, which felt odd. We won’t book here again. We stayed here 15 years ago and everything was fine. We were hugely disappointed.

The service was very friendly and everything could be arranged without problems. The breakfasts were good, and meals could be purchased. The location was close to the beach and shops. The location was great. I think taking parking spots on the property is a big downside. We had to find a parking spot elsewhere, which cost extra, and that was a big minus for me because I travel by car.
