Hotel Miodowy

I stayed near the market, with a large parking lot and a restaurant that serves good food, all in a quiet area. The family room had only two TV channels, which is a problem when traveling with kids, and the staff’s translation skills were lacking – we didn’t have time to fix it because they were constantly busy. The glass under the shower was slightly broken, and the rooms could use a refresh; they looked awful. When the cleaners came, they could have been a bit more thorough – the room’s cleanliness didn’t invite a stay, with spider webs, crumbs, and dust under one of the beds.

Nothing good to mention. The mattresses were dirty, bathroom fixtures were rusty, and the shower head leaked. The front‑desk staff were rude, there was no way to pay by card, and the restaurant was closed.

The hotel offers tasty breakfasts served buffet style from early morning. The main issue was that I never got a room – despite having a reservation and even an email from the hotel saying they were expecting me (probably automated). Basically, someone on staff messed up, so when I arrived in the afternoon there were no available rooms, and the manager had a hard time finding me accommodation at nearby properties. Unfortunately, that weekend was busy with events, so I finally accepted a room that was under renovation. It was bearable, but the experience left a bad impression.
