The host was super friendly and made sure I knew how to make the most of my visit. The room was cozy, compact, and spotless, giving it a homey vibe. I had to leave before breakfast (8‑10 am on a Saturday), but the fresh fruit that was available was a nice touch. I also liked walking along the canal towpath into town, a pleasant escape from traffic. The carpet on the stairs looks worn and a bit shabby, but that’s no big deal—it’s clearly heavily used.

The landlord was very helpful and friendly, offering great dining suggestions. The lounge has a fridge and microwave for those who want to eat in. Breakfast is basic but fine.

A classic B&B with everything you need and a nice breakfast. Parking is limited, but there are spaces at the front and a small side car park, so it’s not a problem for a car. A bike is a bit exposed, but I parked it on the very wide pavement and everything worked out.

The location is excellent, close to the motorway and only a 25‑minute walk (3‑5 minute drive) from the city centre. The place is very clean, spacious, and welcoming. There’s free parking at the back with plenty of space. The staff are gracious, accommodating, and super helpful. Free snacks by the entrance, a selection of books to read, and a comfy communal seating area with a TV. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is cute and effective. My wife and I can’t find anything to complain about.
