Café Wildau Hotel & Restaurant am Werbellinsee

It was unexpected. I read a lot and absorbed the atmosphere. The kitchen I experienced was excellent, grounded, and without an overblown ego. Thank you. And I’ll write cookbooks ;-) The service culture made me think: I’ll be back. The Wi‑Fi could mature a bit ;-)

“Gutes Hotel direkt am See”

A lovely hotel right on the lake with a great location. The breakfast and a la carte dinner were both excellent. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. The unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom was addressed and fixed right away. The staff were always friendly and professional, ready to help whenever asked. Overall, we felt the hotel was a bit indulgent about the issues mentioned and the prices seemed a bit high, but that’s subjective. The evening drink on the large terrace was a highlight for us. All in all, a solid choice and definitely worth recommending.

From check‑in to check‑out, the front desk and housekeeping were attentive every day. By the second day they already knew my coffee preference for breakfast. What stood out most was the quietness in every interaction—no loud talking or clattering dishes. The location is fantastic. Nothing to complain about; everything was top.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, genuinely helpful and friendly. The view of the lake was stunning and the interior was lovingly decorated. It felt very cozy.
