Only the location was good and the place was clean; most rooms shared toilets, and our room 10 on the roof was simply furnished, with no curtains over the window and a TV that had no power or signal connection. We had to go from the third floor down to the basement to shower and then one and a half floors down at night to the shared WC. The hotel description did not make clear that this is a very basic pension without a bathroom or even a bathtub in the room, so the value for money is lacking. The lady who handed us the key spoke neither German nor English, and a phone request to change rooms was denied even though the hotel was not full.

I could make my own breakfast, but there were no toilets in the room, no smoke alarm, and the bathroom was in the basement.
