The kitchen was available for cooking your own meals, and Shannon arranged an early check‑in as I requested, which I truly appreciated. However, the location felt a bit far from most dining spots and almost 20 minutes from the beach. I stayed three nights and never had anyone clean the room; I’m not sure if that needed to be requested separately. Only one 500 ml water bottle was provided at check‑in; later, even when I wanted to buy a water bottle, the host didn’t respond to texts or calls. I sensed possible prejudice against Indian travelers, and the host could have collected the traveler’s tax upon arrival instead of waiting until the last moment. I travel internationally, but I felt very cold vibes from the host with Indian roots, especially toward a solo Indian female traveler.
